We’ve followed the story-line approach using a nice documentary “More than Honey” which shows the devastating consequences when nature isn’t well balanced as it should be and eco-systems starts to effect each others.

For future projects we will focus more on the collaboration within the municipality (see information mentioned above). The key competences we want to address are:

Creativity & Cooperation: what kind of projects do we want to realise in de community of Baarn and Soest?

Compassion: which people do we want to invite (senior) from the community, for example to visit our bee garden; what environmental/health problems do our (direct) community face?

Citizenship: what is happening in our community in relation to geo circle; what kind of contribution can be made in facing these problems?

Not work with empty boxes but give (concreet) meaning to therms like recycle / re-usage, for example building plant borders with bricks from our smoking area.

This year we started with fresh pupils from the third grade who can work their ways up to geo circle ambassadors and welcome and inform fresh pupils. We choose to work in different kind of teams who work closely together on a specific assignment, for example: gardening group, website, presentation, documentary, project visebility etc.
