We are the Geocircle group of Het Baarnsch Lyceum in the Netherlands.

Our Geocircle group consists of multiple teachers and students of the ninth and tenth grade.

This group was an initiative of the teachers, but the actions are mostly decided by its students.

This freedom and amount of input is good for us as students. Because even though we have teachers to guide us and provide us with information - and reality checks on the matter of certain unattainable goals - we have the deciding vote on what we want to do.

This project is also a very good addition to our regular curriculum.

It's also quite nice to know we are working for a better planet that we will inherit as a generation.
