School year 2018-2019 is about to end, so let us see the achievements in GEO Circle project. From March 18th till 22th here was an international exchange between our school and Het Baarnsch Lyceum, Netherlands. The exchange took place in the Netherlands. The goal of the exchange was to increase the number of bees in the wild. Our students gave a helping hand with building gardens they call 'bee hotels'. Part of the exchange were discussions, suggestions and solutions on how to improve the environment around the hotels.
An enjoyable activity was visiting Amsterdam and getting to know the capital of the Netherlands.
From April 8th till 12th we hosted an exchange between our school and the German school Ohmoor from Hamburg. Our priority was to point out how important taking care of the environment around us is for us. Together with the german students we planted trees at our school area. The second part of the programme was the visit by the firm CIUR, which makes use of waste paper to make isolation materials which are - for example - used in buildings.
Next year the project will continue individually and conclude in 2020 in the final conference which will be held in the Netherlands.
